As many of you will know I have been talking for some time about having some lifestyle workshops at Shirley.

I've been inspired by the season and how beautiful all the gardens are looking on the Monaro this year. The first workshop I will be hosting is ‘Field to Vase - flower arranging’.  I love picking flowers for my home and dream of having my own picking garden at Shirley one day soon. Flowers can completely transform any interior and bring an energy and life of their own to your home.

Gabby from The Flower Pantry will join me for this workshop - she is a creative genius when it comes to flowers and has turned it into an art form. Gabby will share some tips and techniques and everyone will then be able to construct an arrangement using flowers from her 'Cut Flower Patch' and foliage from my garden. At the end of the workshop you'll take your arrangement home so you can experience the transformation first hand.

I would like to invite you to a morning in my home on Tuesday 8th March, for this workshop. The morning will include morning tea and a wander through the Shirley garden in its early autumn phase. You're very welcome to invite friends and to spread the word.

If you’d like to join us please click here for details and to book.
